Who Are We?

We exist to feed hope to young Kiwis, one action at a time.

It means taking action on a need we see, and doing what we can with what we’ve got.

Each action is driven by our hope that every child and young person has the opportunity to learn, thrive and become amazing.

We began in 2012, boosting little minds and tummies with hot, healthy lunches. Then we started feeding hope to young people in 2014 through our kitchen work placement programme.

After making and delivering over 235,000 hot lunches, we are taking a new approach to ‘feed the need’ - through our Pātaka Programme. It’s all about helping schools and their communities to set up food pantries as a shared resource to support each other in times of need.
